We are sorry you were not able to sleep in. Most of our guests at present are workers, We do provide toasters to the rooms on request. We have a breakfast menu hot and continental available for room service as well.

Hi Rosalie I have cancelled your booking and you should get a full fund. When situations are out of your control we do not charge and ask the booking companies to refund payments.

thank you for your comments. Sorry about the mouse plague sign, the plague (local area) had finished but the sign had not been removed. Security screens do not fit hopper style windows, room has reverse cycle air conditioning. The door does lock and also has security chain for extra security. It is not our responsibility to now what other motels offer in their restaurant if they have one. I'm sorry you felt you could not bring these problems to our attention. As far as no on-site managers, we do live on site and on some Sunday nights when it is quite and everyone has checked in we do go out. Thank you Debbie - manager

Thank you for taking the time to rate our motel. yes we have had to replace some of the older fridges in rooms.

Not sure if you have the correct Motel as cannot find this review on Hotels.com for the Countryman Motel. However,thank you for taking the time to post a review. I am disappointed you didn't advise reception of the problem with the room. 2 options could have occurred. The problem with the room could have been dealt with directly or we could have offered to relocate you to a different room. Not sure in regard to updating as beds and covers were all replaced in the last 2 years and other soft furnishings have been replaced progressively over the last 5 years.
