"The Hotel was under renovation, but it didn’t interfere with our very wonderful, peaceful and comfortable stay. The staff maintained cleanliness and safety. The breakfast that came with our stay was FANTASTIC! If I could give all the staff at the Hampton Inn on Clemson Rd in Columbia, SC a 20 out of 5, I would! Thank you❤️ Carol and Tom Cruz Michigan"

"Dan was one of the staff he is very nice he was very funny and he tried to help but the management did nothing the pool was absolutely disgusting it was filled with sand I reported it several times. the room had a odor we had to spray over and over again but overall it was okay Dan made it okay the bed slept well the pillows felt great even though my bed made noise but it still slept great if they clean the pool I will return and do better with the room smells"

"The staff and the property were excellent. We only had just a couple of issues with our room (fridge wasn't cooling and toilet wasn't flushing properly but that was probably due to a large number of people in the hotel due to a family reunion over the weekend) but once we connected the front desk, the issues were resolved almost immediately. The bed was so comfy, and the room was modern and spacious. Will definitely stay here again and recommend to family & friends visiting Columbia, S.C.!!!...

"I was disappointed the place from the outside looks like a dump. Once you get in it's nice but you realize this was an outdoor motel of the 70s with a building built on top of it. The rooms are older and our shower head was about to come off. No one came and cleaned our rooms so the next night I canceled and went to a better hotel. This place might be good in a tight situation where you have no other place to stay but definitely not a 2nd or 1st option. It wasn't horrible but it wasn't excellent...

"Toilet seat was up and there was urine on the porcelain. There was mold in the shower which we did not use because we were concerned about allergies. The sheets were soft and the beds were comfortable."

"Staff were most helpful and courteous. Elevator floors especially corners had a lot of crud in them."

"The girl at the desk was wonderful as far as she was concern however, my room was downstairs in the basement area. It felt uneasy somewhat. Breakfast time, there was an empty can of spray for the waffle machine which didnt matter since the waffle batter dispenser was empty. My room was ok and was told there would be a 100 dollar deposit which would be returned in 7 to 10 business days but after seeing i was from the next town they changed deposit to 250. I was there camping when a storm came up...

"Did not stay at this motel due to concerns about security and condition of property. We noticed this motel was listed that night on Expedia for $23. We were charged over $60. I am requesting a refund. My daughter booked us another room at the Comfort Inn nearby on Expedia that night."
