The table and mirror had been hastily wiped and were still visibly dirty on arrival. There were many fruit flies in the room that were hard to get rid of. The bed was a murphy bed, and very, very thin. The pool was nice, though one hot tub was out of service. We stayed here 16 years ago and were a bit disappointed at the wear and tear. The staff...

"I understand this is a historic hotel, so I wasn’t expecting anything modern or luxurious. However, the room was extremely small, and the shower had noticeable black buildup throughout, which was concerning from a cleanliness standpoint. The hotel was also very noisy, and my room door didn’t properly align with the frame, leaving a gap that made me uncomfortable from a privacy/security perspective. I appreciate the historic charm, but cleanliness and basic privacy should still be priorities."

"Went with my granddaughter and my 17 yo daughter. The first day they went in the pool the girls LOVED it. The room was very clean. The first day there was an issue with the toilet they came immediately and fixed.. The housekeeping staff came took the old towels and brought new. The hotel is beautiful.
