2. Music show/concert till midnight. I worked with music and speaker systems for 25 years, and I can tell you the sound was loud enough to be incredibly punishing to the eardrums. People watched the show with serious expressions. It was very aggressive. The sound made the hotel windows vibrate violently and bled through to the inside.
3. The Sea Festival (Festa do Mar) is an annual event in Cascais. I have no intention of calling for the cancellation of any event...

"On arrival the room was musty and smelt of cigarette smoke - we asked reception to address the issue or move us to an alternate room - they advised the only room available was one that had been adapted for disabilities which wasn’t suitable for us so we asked for the room to be cleaned / aired which they eventually did (after a number of reminders ) which masked the smell to a tolerable level but it was still there - not ideal

"My friend and I booked this hotel for our last night in Lisbon as we wanted to be close to the airport. Sadly, we found the room to be dirty, especially the bathroom. The walls and shower were dirty, there was hair in the sink, the floors felt like they had not been cleaned. We were relieved to only be staying one night and not more… which is regretful to say because the rest of the hotel, such as the lobby, was very pretty and the staff was very nice. AC worked well. I most likely would not...
