"Great. They have everything you could need - well appointed kitchen, milk and breakfast provided, plenty of fluffy towels even down to non stick bath mats"

"Staying here felt like you walked into a story book; beautiful gardens, bridge over the creek with swans swimming up and down, sheep in the fields, views of Salisbury Cathedral, stylish decorated rooms. We greatly enjoyed our stay. "

Location was on a busy main road so exiting by car was difficult at times. Car parking although off road was tight. A bit too far to walk into Salisbury for an evening meal and nothing close by was good enough.
Breakfast was hot and excellent, many choices. Staff very friendly. A very distinguished property with quiet rooms, no squeaky floorboards as we have seen and heard elsewhere. A lovely place and would stay again.

A lovely stay at the Pembroke Arms. There was plenty of free parking to the rear of the Inn. Reception was efficient and friendly. Our room - two double beds so for four people - was large and comfortable with lovely touches like TeaPig teas and ground coffee. The room itself was quite cold but reception turned the heating up for us and it was a really cold day so no complaints.
We ate in the hotel that evening - a really nice restaurant and delicious (massive) pies.

We stayed at the Chapter House for two nights (Friday and Saturday) as a base to visit Salisbury and the surrounding area and attend the Darkness into Light Advent Service at the cathedral on Saturday evening.
The hotel is perfectly located for exploring the town and just a few minutes' walk from the cathedral.
The staff were wonderful; friendly and attentive and happy to chat.

The Room in the Garden is a lovely space, it was clean, the large bed was extremely comfortable and the shower was spacious and great, especially in the hot weather. In the room was a coffee machine with coffee pods, tea and milk and a TV.
Outside was a lovely shaded patio where we enjoyed a welcome cup of tea when we arrived, and a freshly prepared, very tasty light breakfast the following morning.
The owners and their dog were very friendly and helpful, providing a fan to cope with the heat...

My family and I enjoyed our overnight stay here. All the staff were very friendly, and the food was good.
Special thanks to Patrick, who kindly offered to help carry our luggage to our room. We really appreciated his kindness and excellent service. 🙏

Our visit was just overnight. The location of Woodfalls Inn was perfect for us as we visited people/places in Southampton, Salisbury and Fordingbridge.
Perfect if you are visiting the New Forest.
Everything in the hotel felt new and pristine. The room was very comfortable. Breakfast was very good.
The price was very competitive compared to other places we looked at in the area.
Certainly one we will remember for when we are next down that way.

A lovely stay at The Three Lions, staff were friendly and helpful, food was amazing and the hot tub was so relaxing and private. We will be returning to The Three Lions again for sure, but next time for longer than just a night.

Yes, there are holiday rentals close to the most popular sights in Bishopstone, or you can select a more secluded option if you're looking for a relaxing stay.
What can I see and do in Bishopstone?
Cranborne Chase and the West Wiltshire Downs and Faulston Hole are a couple of lovely local spots to get outside and enjoy nature. Throope Down and New Forest National Park are a couple of places you'll find in the wider area.
What are holiday rentals like in Bishopstone?
Holiday rentals are privately owned properties you can book for a few days, or a quick weekend, in Bishopstone. Holiday rentals feature extras such as patios, hot tubs and fire pits so you'll be comfy for your stay. If you're concerned about cleanliness, a holiday rental can offer a sense of privacy away from public hotel lifts and bustling concierge desks while still allowing you the excitement and enjoyment of travel. You'll also have more space in a holiday rental than in a traditional hotel, which is another reason why a holiday rental is a great option for a small group gathering.
