"Everyone was great and the property is beautiful."

"We had an incredible stay here. The pools were beautiful and well kept. Food was good, of course pricier than local options but still fairly priced and fresh. The landscaping and grounds and boardwalk were a dream though. Amazing work they have done here. It has to be decades of tending and pruning. The property manager was able to help us with our tour plans as well. We found cave tubing and ziplining through her connection to be cheaper than booking online."

"This is such a beautiful property that really immerses you in the nature of San Ignacio. Rose cooked fresh breakfast everyday that was absolutely delicious, and her and her husband were super kind. I also rented a car from Rod, who was also super nice, so I had such a smooth experience getting from place to place. "Mariposa Jungle Lodge is the perfect place for a special occasion or weekend getaway. The staff is super hospitable and are very willing to answer any questions and accomodate any requests that you have. The food is top notch and the grounds are very well kept. "We had a wonderful experience at the black rock lodge, the staff is amazing and you can feel how passionate they are about their work. The Tikal visit is a must. We had an amazing day on site with our guide Noel, we learnt so much about Mayan history and jungle fauna. We did also the hike to the summit and the night walk with the guide. Both great. "The property and House was clean and cool with AC! The staff was so much fun and thoughtful! We learned so much from Alfred and Dwight throughout our stay! We also did the big zip lines, repelling, and tight rope which was fun and beautiful! There is lots to do around the resort and it’s close to so many beautiful sights!"

"Absolute GORGEOUS many-acre property in the jungle. Living luxurious while in an an unspoiled area of jungle with 5 star service, F & B. I'm not sure how vacations get any better. Awesome pool for our 2 kids, too! 6 star experience. "

"The hotel was pretty modern and new. The double suite was very large and beautiful. It was a pretty quiet, family business and the staff was so nice and accommodating. It felt like staying with family. The food was delicious as well. The area is pretty isolated, but a short cab ride can take you to town for groceries and restaurants. Super refreshing and pretty pool, and the beds were SO comfortable. "

"My room with a thatched roof was cozy and comfortable. Lots of hot water in the shower! Staff very friendly and helpful. I ate in dining room a couple times. Food and service excellent! Within walking distance to food stores, bank, some restaurants. Look forward to staying here again."

"I had a great time room was beautiful, plunge pool was mainly hot due to the sun felt like a hot tub which im not complaining about. The misuse was amazing I highly recommend getting a massage from her a great experience. Only thing I'd give 2 stars was the food it was alight, definitely could have been better. The staff was always there when I needed them very attentive to every need."
