"I just gave the stars on the look of this place. Unfortunately we were not able to stay the night we had booked this place for. We were stuck on the highway for the whole night because of a bad accident. By the time it cleared it was time to reach our next tour booking of Glacier hike. I’m still waiting if I would get some kind of compensation"

"Ironically the absolute best place we stayed in all of Iceland. Amenities like a kitchen and hot tub and just the amazing view made this extremely worthwhile. Very clean and well maintained. Staff was very friendly and responsive to my questions. Even providing suggestions. Location was perfect for the Golden Circle. So dark at night we saw the Northern lights in late August. We loved this cabin. Would definitely come again."

"Photos can not capture the beautiful scenery at the villa. You are surrounded by nature and the view of the Northern Lights surrounds the area when they are dancing. Our teens, young adults, middle-aged, and senior family members were all able to enjoy the spacious layout. Travel to local sights is easy and worth it in order to be in the tranquil quiet by the lake. I highly recommend staying here. The owners are wonderful hosts."

"This is a good choice if you need a mid point to take a break on your way south. It’s very basic so don’t expect much, but the twin beds and pillows are very comfortable. We chose it hoping it’s far enough from the city lights to see the aurora, but no luck with all the clouds in the way. It’s still a decent place, no wake up call offered but I was able to go out of both exits on the upper floor regularly to check for aurora.
I’d stay here again if too tired to drive."
