"We booked this property f'vvvvor 7 people to stay and travel around Switzerland, blackforest. It was most convenient if you are visiting Switzerland, Germany & france.
We didn't book breakfast, other than that i/ worked out well in terms of home & combo cooking

"We stayed one night after a cruise. They picked us up at the airport but it was a little difficult to find them however they thankfully found us. We had dinner in the restaurant which was wonderful. they took us back to the airport the next day. Would definitely stay again if ever in the area."

"Excellent location, clean and well maintained. Bed was comfortable and room was much larger than we anticipated. Bettina checked us in and she was delightful. We left luggage at desk a few hours before check-in, and it was taken to our rooms before we returned. The hot beverages and croissants were also a pleasant surprise. "
"The staff, particularly Natalia, were incredibly helpful. Breakfast was wonderful with plenty of selection. Very close to Old Town although it was 58 steps down. Remember you must come back up! We opted out of room cleaning for our short stay and we were rewarded with refreshments. Excellent idea. Would definitely recommend."
"The hotel was in an excellent spot overlooking the Rhine, and the restaurant downstairs was lovely.

"No Air conditioning it would be very uncomfortable if temps outside exceeded 85 degrees. However the breakfast bar was superb there is a walkway bridge to this quaint town in France a shopping mall a park on the Rhine the tram into Basel all within walking steps from the hotel."

If you're looking for something in the city center, this might not be the hotel for you - but as a someone pass through and stopping in Basel for a night, it was perfect. Affordable for Switzerland. Very large rooms. We were there during a heatwave and not only was the AC great, but the hotel had ice and water. "Ein tolles Hotel in Gehdistanz zu allen Möglichkeiten, mit moderner Einrichtung. Die Baselcard ist super und die Bags um sich im Rhein treiben zu lassen sind genial. Zuerst waren wir etwas erstaunt über den Preis des Frühstücks, doch es war sehr reichhaltig und ausserordentlich vielseitig. Es hat sich gelohnt. Werden es wieder besuchen. "
