Next to train station so it was very convenient. The hotel was clean and pretty. My room was very clean as well and the bed was very comfortable. I would have liked a firmer pillow because the one they had was too soft. The room also came with a balcony so that was a nice bonus. The trams are also right in front of the hotel.

This is a great hotel - perfect if being near the main station/transport is important. It’s a very traditional place in terms of decor but everything was immaculate and well looked after - our room was really spacious and even had an exercise bike which we weren’t expecting! The staff were all lovely and super helpful.

The Schweizerhof is a very modern and comfortable hotel. Quiet and comfortable rooms. The hotel has excellent facilities including a bar on the ground and ice and fresh water rooms on each floor. The breakfast was great. Great transport links with the train and tram outside. I liked as a hotel guest the hotel gives you a free pass around Basel. I highly recommend the hotel.

Nice hotel in excellent location

Excellent location / friendly staff / good room / older hotel but well maintained / comfortable bed / included a ticket for public transport during the stay which i think is a great idea / we had a room towards the front therefore it was a bit noisy from the Trams in front of the hotel but that did not bother us.
