"It was a great experience staying at a hundred plus years old hotel with so much character and history. The lobby is just breathtaking, you just have to see it to experience it. Of course, the room is very dated ( they may have recently renovated rooms) with creaking floors and the shower is so small,not is hard to move while taking shower. The grounds are fantastic and the Amtrak station is short walk, if you are a train enthusiast (go there in the evening around 7:30 pm for the Empire Builder...

"Run down property with no toiletries. It is next to active train station which will wake you up every hour."
