"Staff were very kind and courteous. The spa treatments were great, we got them at the Irma spa and they were lovely. We did the mirror pool and mud pool + short massage, which made the trip worth it. The area itself is really beautiful, green and nice to walk around / have a drink. Also there are restaurants nearby in town which are really nice. Overall a nice trip but the other reviews are right that the property itself is dated. First impression on arrival wasn’t great but stay was nice...

"Ich bin Stammgast seit Jahren. Ich lege grossen Wert auf guten Service allgemein ebenso auf Sauberkeit, Parkmöglichkeiten, sehr gutes Essen , Gym & Wellness etc. um mein Aufenthalt bestmöglichst zu geniessen. Hotel Golden Key erfüllt die oben genannte Punkten. Vielen Dank"

"Huoneisto oli tilava, moderni ja siisti. Ainoa ongelma oli sähkölukko, joka saatiin toimimaan vasta parin puhelinsoiton jälkeen. Täällä voisi viipyä pidempäänkin, oli täysin varusteltu keittiö ja pesukone. Rauhallinen pientaloalue, kävelymatkan päässä keskustasta."

"This is an attractive, upscale hotel, very well located in Trencin. Limited outdoor parking behind the hotel. Attractive room and dining room. But lots of downsides and annoyances: front desk staff not particularly friendly or helpful, hallway motion detector lights went on slowly and went off quickly, no night table on my side of the bed (had to turn over trash can and use that), kitchen in restaurant closes at 8:30pm, no desk chairs, flakey internet (disconnects), paper cups in bathroom,...

"Das Zimmer im Dachgeschoß waren nicht sauber. Die Matratzenauflagen hatten braune Flecken, die sichtbar waren, weil die Leintücher zu kurz waren und nicht das ganze Bett abdeckten. Vom Dachflächenfenster zog sich eine braune Spur die Tapete hinunter, vermutlich von eingedrungenem schmutzigem Wasser vom Dach. Der Teppich hatte auch Flecken. Das Bad war geräumig und sauber. Es hatte aber keine Dusche, sondern eine Wanne mit Wasserdüsen, die aber nicht funktionierten. Eine Person ca. 1,80 m groß,...

"We got a room with no view facing a parking lot and a big wall. Soaps and have to requested. Staff was very obliging and very good. It is a bit further from the centre of the town but walkable.Breakfast was very good."

"Ett hotell med otrolig charm, som att kliva in i en "Jane Austin" roman. Varje morgon var frukosten vackert uppdukad endast för oss två. Det enda vi saknade var ägg/ äggröra. Trevlig personal. Parkeringen var liten och lite trång att parkera vid. "
