"Very nice and well maintained holiday park.
Rooms were clean and fresh like a hotel.
Spacious and had everything we needed.
Would probably just recommend a pot upgrade and a couple more bowls but that’s being a bit more picky.
Had 2 car spaces but our cars were too big to fit both of them in (SUV & Ute) but we spoke to management and they organised an alternative which was very helpful.
Used the laundry and that was easy and cleaned my clothes well. Pool looked great and playground too but...

"What a beautiful hotel, we had a fantastic stay. Exactly what you want in a lovely historic old hotel in a fantastic location in the Adelaide Hills. Beautifully restored, fireplaces galore, great welcoming bar and elegant dining room with fabulous wine room. Couldn’t fault the hotel, our room was so cosy and comfortable, gorgeous large marble bathroom and balcony (Tiers room). "Hotel is new. Great to be out of the city as we were exploring the surrounding areas.
Check-in staff were knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Check out was likewise very easy.
No problem getting a park underneath.
We ate at the restaurant twice and rooftop bar - great views. Food was fantastic.
The Wait Staff were coping with high volumes of people and doing as good a job as possible. Friendly, but couldn't answer questions, didn't know the menu, but what was truly awful was their managers....

"We loved our stay at Mt Lofty House. Highly recommend the daily history tour at 4.30pm. All staff were really friendly, knowledgeable and engaging. Our room was divine. A tip, the cookies are the best. There’s a jar left out and topped up daily but it’s a bit of a secret.

"Room was fantastic, and bed was super comfy. Only complaint was that we found out we were near where the pub drops its recycling when we were woken up by the sound of glass being placed in the recycling bin at 6am. But I guess someone has to be near that side of the venue, and the stay was otherwise lovely.
Breakfast was great too - way more than I could eat!
Definitely recommend the hotel."
