What a treat to stay in one of the Phi Hotel apartments in the heart of Bologna. Comfortable, clean with lots of room and well equipped kitchen- with lots of coffee. Serviced every day. Reception in hotel very helpful.

Clean apartment

Got the offsite apartment about ½ block away. Nice clean 1 BR loft which is good for younger folks that don’t mind lots of stairs. The apartment comes with a kitchen and the complimentary Prosecco upon arrival was a nice touch. Only wished the apartment had better or rather brighter lighting.

Excellent breakfast. The apartment nr. 5 was in a worse condition, compared to pictures and descriptions. Tap was loose. Bath shower head was in a bad condition. Iron defect, the same the iron board.

Unnecessarily exhausting stay!

They initially put us in a dark dingy apartment - there was nothing superior about it. When I asked for a bathtub, they offered us an attic room in the main hotel instead. I was not trying to be difficult and proposed that they make up for the price difference by adding breakfast to our stay. They clearly didn’t want to do that. And amazingly enough, a better apartment (I think they have only 3) became available. So 2-hours after our arrival we managed to settle in for a short overnight stay. It was unnecessary exhausting!
