Top Bonaire Hotel Reviews

Divi Flamingo Beach Resort & Casino
10/10 Excellent
"Great experience "

Van der Valk Plaza Beach & Dive Resort Bonaire - All Inclusive
8/10 Good
"Resort was beautiful with a great main pool and loved all the activities for kids around the pool. Enjoyed the pool bar but this did get busy mid-day. Bar tenders were very friendly. Room was very nice but outdated. Assuming this will be updated soon based on other renovations ongoing. I’d recommend more pillows for guests. Room had only two pillows and they were somewhat flat. Travelers could bring their own as additional pillows for the room were declined by front desk upon request. I’d also recommend purchasing European plug converters if coming from USA. Minimal plugs in room for US plug. No bedside plugs so husband had to purchase extension cord to use cpap. I would also note that all inclusive was not the typical all inclusive we have experienced at other resorts. There is all inclusive with limited liquor and drinks available. You get the list at check in. There is a premium package that includes frozen drinks and premium liquor and other amenities like fridge in room. This should be detailed on website when booking. We didn’t mind purchasing but felt the website detail was a bit deceiving since there was no mention of limited brands or common frozen cocktails were not included with all inclusive. Overall our first stay was great and we would return but learned the limitations of resort so we can adjust accordingly next stay. "

Ocean Breeze Boutique Hotel & Marina
10/10 Excellent
"I stayed five nights in late March and would book again. The location is genuinely unbeatable: the airport is a 10-minute walk, Te Amo Beach is equally close on foot and one of Bonaire's best spots for snorkeling at sunset, and the town centre is reachable in 25 to 30 minutes by walk. Free parking is always available, which is a plus if you rent a car or scooter.
Check-in was seamless. The hotel asked for my flight details in advance and had everything ready on arrival. The lobby makes a great first impression, open and airy with a relaxed atmosphere. Linen and towels were changed every third day and the room stayed spotless throughout. The AC worked perfectly, WiFi was fast and reliable, and there was plenty of wardrobe space. Noise was a non-issue: the area is quiet, and the occasional plane is barely noticeable given how few flights there are.
The restaurant The Dock is excellent, with good food at fair prices right next to the pool. Beach towels are available via a voucher system handed out at check-in, which works well.
The staff were genuinely helpful. They called ahead to check day-pass availability at resorts and arranged a scooter without any hassle. One tip: ask about the second pool at check-in. It sits right on the sea and is stunning, but nobody mentioned it to me and I only found out later.
One small thing was missing: a clothesline or drying rack, which is quite useful if you are snorkeling every day. Neither is a dealbreaker, but worth knowing"

Chogogo Dive & Beach Resort Bonaire
10/10 Excellent
"Chogogo is a perfect destination in Bonaire to relax and explore. Located near Barí Reef, there is snorkeling within steps of your door. The Barí Bar is a great place to chill and relax and enjoy the nightly music offerings. "

Art Hotel
8/10 Good
"Room was clean. check in and out very very easy. Nearby many restaurants.
TV channels were terrible. "

Delfins Beach Resort Bonaire, Tapestry Collection by Hilton
8/10 Good
"This is the 5th diving trip to Bonaire in 6 years and Delfins remains are preferred resort choice. This year we expanded our group to 8 people (4 couples). So we obviously enjoy this resort. This year there were a few areas that we thought could have been improved. including :
The day-lunch menu items are limited - especially 4pm until dinner menu starts at 5:30. This was a problem because we dive multiple times during the day and sometimes include a night dive . so having a late lunch or early dinner later in the afternoon is challenging and at that time service was a little slow. Also the “snack menu” was limited - sandwich or burger would nice if it was available
The concierge was not very friendly with my younger son and his girlfriend and difficult to book and arrange a scooter rental
Beach Towels were in short supply and seemed be difficult to reliably exchange on a daily basis
We thought there should be a toaster available in the rooms with kitchens
The safe in our room closet was mounted about 1 foot off the ground in poor lighting and had no instructions. I had to ask for someone to come to the room to set it up because it was locked open. despite my best efforts , using a flashlight and laying on the floor I couldn’t figure it out. An attendant from the front desk came in very quickly late at night to help us out .
Some of the staff tried really hard to make our stay comfortable . We will probably return again next year . "

Harbour Village Beach Club Bonaire
10/10 Excellent
"A perfect stay in Bonaire, from reception at the airport to the ride back to the airport. The resort really impresses with the location, the integration with the scenery, and a perfect combination of laidback luxury and attention to detail. Special thanks to all the staff; and especially Zac and Dennis from the DiveShop, for alerting us to the dangers of full-face snorkeling masks."

Grand Windsock Bonaire

Corallium Hotel & Villas Bonaire
