Great Value for the Price

Clean property in a convenient location. Amenities are basic, but I consider this place a great value for the price. Mini-kitchen with a microwave came in handy when I didn't feel like going out. Staffs are friendly and very helpful.

Friendly, great value

Super friendly staff. Room clean and quiet with well equipped kitchenette as a bonus. Good selection of food for continental breakfast. Location convenient for tram. Room decor basic and uninspiring but overall very good value.

Very good. The staff like Chloe, Halima & Lova are very attentive & helpful! Room decent and location convenient next to the pharmacy & a very yummy pastry shop. Walking distance to Marche Capucin market very convenient!

Set on a nice quiet street 15 min walk to town… 15 mins drive from the train station. The staff were lovely all with a good level of English. Great self contained 1 bedroom with sep lounge living area with pull out double sofa bed. This would need a a great place to use as a base to explore other areas…. Just wish they had included milk in the ftidge

Comfortable and clean

Accommodation was basic but adequate for our stay. Close to main town of St Jean and tram/bus routes. Room clean but very hot despite not turning on the heating and it being November. The water tank was directly above the toilet which was hazardous but other than that it was a comfortable stay. Our only real grumble was the neighbour above us allowed their toddler to continually run up and down at night and this often kept us awake until they finally got the child to bed!

Not a welcoming place to stay really, as there was a sense of neglect over the building and particularly my bedroom. It was well appointed, or it would have been if everything worked. The hot tap was particularly lethal as it only dispensed boiling hot water. The bed was good though and there was a fair amount of space. There are better places to stay in the area though.

I enjoyed a 4 night stay in mid September, 2025. Although I was travelling solo, a had a really nice suite with both a double bed and a single bed in the other room. The kitchenette was suitable for simple cooking. I was lucky to have brought a sharp knife with me, as the kitchenette didn’t have that. I was also lucky to have brought a plug for the sink and a dish cloth (one simple kitchen towel was provided). The area appears a bit rough in the evening, however, in daytime hours, lots of locals and visitors are in the area, commuting to the train station and/or school/work. There is was a laundry room right on my floor, which was convenient. A small cost that can be activated with a recite card. Be careful with making sure to lock your suite door behind you when you leave. I realized on my first day that it doesn’t automatically lock. I didn’t have any issues with anyone going into my suite, but I had to remember to lock the door with the key each time. Staff were helpful at the front desk. I didn’t opt for cleaning or breakfast (additional prices), however, staff were happy to replenish toilet paper and dish soap upon my request.

Great if you enjoy the heat

We had a better stay earlier in the year but hadn’t appreciated the toll the heat would take on our comfort. We had the windows open and fans on but the heat persisted. Nice and cool near the river in the evening and the park had a cold air installation.

Close to the St-Jean station. The area feels unsafe at night. Many homeless people. There is no reception after 7 pm, it is important to remember the entry code as the entry is closed. There are no cards to get in the hotel or the room, but a key.
