"Nice hotel in an excellent location in Bordeaux. A very quiet little street/alley right beside the Intercontinental Hotel. Front desk staff gets mixed reviews, a couple were extremely helpful, a couple were not. Breakfast was okay but one day I had to chase down the receptionist to try and get coffee. The bedroom was not spacious but certainly adequate. Luckily the bathroom was very modern, spacious and well equipped. "

"Mama Shelter hotels are always funky and interesting. The Bordeaux one is in a quiet area but only a couple of minutes walk from the main shopping area. The staff were very friendly and helpful especially when we needed advice on how to get the to arena for a show. We ate in the hotel restaurant on the first night as we arrived late after a long day, but the service was non existent and the food average so I would avoid eating there as there are so many fabulous restaurants in the area.
