"Great intention, disastrous execution. The apartment smells like rotten potatoes, and the smell is clearly coming from the washing machine, which is old and needs urgent replacement. Using it will make your clothes and the apartment smell like hell. The overall hygiene of the apartment leaves to be desired, specially in the bathroom, kitchen and sofa. No amenities whatsoever (soap, detergent, or kitchen basics). It's a pity because other than that the apartment is spacious and well located....

"Lovely renovated apartment in old building with the fresh market right outside your door every day. Up one floor, so not good for mobility impaired. But modern appliances, spotless, everything electric, and laundry. No dryer. I used the heated towel rack to dry my clothes and it worked nicely after rolling out excess water in a towel. Just around the corner from the historic Theatre and blocks away from the marina. Close to restaurants, shopping, and of course, ice cream. Definitely walkable. "

We’d been travelling for a month so needed a washing machine, which is why we’d booked this specific accommodation.
