Guy at reception was very friendly, especially as we were concerned we may not be able to park there as no space, but did manage to in the end. Hotel is great...not the most modern, no, but homely and rooms have always been spacious, clean and welcoming. The bar/club is great for a night out. Would definitely recommend. Very close to town centre and beach too. Well done Royal Exeter!"

"This was our second visit. We were initially given a room in a bad location on the second floor. We had to walk a lot and go through hot corridors. When we refused the room, we were then given a nice one on the ground floor. It was in good condition, and we really appreciated it."
