"A very quirky, interesting, historical Hotel a short stroll from all the amenities that Swanage have to offer.
Friendly helpful staff from start to finish, all very knowledgeable regarding the history of the hotel.
It’s obviously like the forth bridge regarding the upkeep and maintenance, but that’s expected with an old building,it adds to its charm.

"Lovely comfy room, fan provided during the extreme heat. Lovely small, mostly shaded, terrace at the back of the hotel.
Delicious breakfast and very helpful, friendly staff.
There is one set of steep, narrow stairs to get to the rooms although help was offered to carry up our case."
