"This is the fourth time staying here in ten years. It's our favorite place to stay. The location alone is tough to beat. We love the cabins and property."

"It is definitely a rustic clean property. The service was excellent too. The restaurant food was very nice - we tried breakfast and dinner. It is also only 5 mins by car to Banff and hence very convenient. The only issue with the place is that it has no AC. Two folks mentioned that this is because it is in a National Park but we did go to hotels that had AC. They did help in opening the window and getting an extra fan. "The staff were great, just we expected our room to be cleaned everyday, but the sheets and pillow covers remain unchanged which was not what we expected. Also if we were able to use amenities like media room longer , more than 10 pm would be great. But thanks to the hotel management and staff it was a pleasant stay in Canmore."

"Staff were welcoming and our updated Mountain View room was very clean. The property itself is dated but well kept and clean. The elevator seems to stop randomly on the 2nd floor when I only called for 3rd. This happened several times. Otherwise the elevator works perfectly fine. Parking maximum height is limited to 6’ 6” so be mindful of any rooftop boxes/carriers on your vehicle. We were able to park in the sole uncovered spot on the property. They offered us to park next door at their sister...

"We loved the continental breakfast each morning. It was nice having the shops connected to the hotel The only negative was that the rooms were not air conditioned. Luckily, we were able to stay cool enough with the fans supplied"
