"We loved that this is an independent hotel and small business. The owner is a local and cares about Montclair. The interior is decorated brilliantly and has a clever motif. For example, the rooms don't have numbers, they have names. Inside each room you will find photos of famous people with that name. "The hotel did not inform me upon checking in that they would automatically be charging me a $10 fee for WiFi, and they would not waive the fee after I checked out. The hotel was clean and our room was nice, and the property was located in a great spot. We had drinks from the bar and the bartender seemed irritable and stressed, and our drinks were not well prepared. Overall, it was an okay stay. "

"Absolutely love the hotel! The room was clean and spacious. Love the full size fridge in the room. The pool was not over powering with chlorine and the temperature of the water was just right. The hotel was a perfect little getaway, close to every thing (La forteleza restaurant, American Dream, metlife) I wish we could have stayed longer. We r definitely coming back."
