Clean bedding, clean rooms, clean hotel overall. *The breakfast was amazing. Choices of: eggs, sausage, potato, make your own waffles, make your own breakfast (egg) burrito or chicken burrito with all the toppings, hot oatmeal, overnight oats in oat milk, dry cereal options, yogurt, toast, croissant or bagels. Coffee, hot chocolate or tea, and juices....

Please keep in mind that this place is a living place of historic significance. The original training center for fireman since 1856!!!. Please dont judge it until you get inside. "In life, you take the crunchy with the smooth... this is an eccentric place, and I loved the decor and artwork inside. The room was not huge but decent sized and wasn't shiny and beige like other newer places. The heater is very loud but outside is very quiet. It's in a very convenient location, the staff was awesome, the breakfast was nothing to write home about, but it served the purpose. All in all, a fun place to stay and I'm glad we chose this instead of one of the large chain places."
