"I felt it was on par with the big hotel brands and was surprised at the quality and availability of all the amenities! The free breakfast was a plus and had everything I need. Staff is top notch!!! The hotel itself has a pleasant citrus smell from the cleaning products. The pool is a good size for a hotel - only small issue was that the pool is cold - surprising considering its indoor :-)"

"Overall our stay was great. The location was perfect, the staff was helpful, our room and the hotel in general was very clean, and it was very quiet. The biggest downside was that someone had set the alarm clock in our room, which wasn't apparent until it went off a full hour before my own alarm was set to go off. Check your alarm clocks!"

"We really like the homewood suites brand and look forward to the expected amenities- this one was in a great location but could use a bit of refreshment. Not sure why the hallways have the exposed wiring at the ceiling wall. Breakfast was nice but not as extensive as other locations such as Dallas/ Fort Worth. We had a very long walk from our unit 329 to lobby/ breakfast area. Overall rating is good and I would stay again "

"Poor plumbing!! The sink kept clogging up..there were hair on the “clean” towels!! Overall the place seems to be falling apart from neglect!! The carpet smells super musty!! However, the location is great!!"

"Economical way to stay as close to the Duke University Medical Center without breaking the bank. Ideal for student familles and visitors to the medical center No onsite restaurant but a pantry where you can buy basic microwave meals . We stayed in a suite which was twice the size of a normal hotel room with a kitchenette and a sofa bed . "
