"When I first drove up to this hotel I was pretty dissapointed. The location is just kind of sad - right off the highway - trash and houseless folks. There is a super ugly chain link fence separating the hotel from the off ramp from the highway. Across the street is an ominous property that looks like it's about to be a data center. "We come often to Torrance to visit family but we didn’t have a good experience this time we decided to stay at residence inn, first night didn’t sleep well. The upstairs tenants were walking around and it felt like the ceiling was going to crack, in the morning after going to the flea market came back our key cards didn’t work I went to replace them came back and still didn’t work turned out it was the battery so we had to wait for maintenance to fix that. "Just old"

"The room outlets did not work, we had to request a room change. The room we got changed to had no towels & no toiletries. We asked for ice from the office staff & was told we were too "needy". The room smelled like smoke. The bathroom looked like it was not cleaned properly. Not the best experience staying here."
