" ⸻ The hotel is a small, newly renovated property with beautiful décor and a welcoming atmosphere. We stayed in Room 416, which features two queen-size beds. The beds themselves were comfortable; however, the pillows had an unpleasant odor that detracted from the overall comfort. The shower experience was inconsistent, with very low water pressure and fluctuating temperatures. At times, the water would turn cold mid-shower, requiring a wait for it to heat up again, which caused delays in our schedule. The balcony is quite limited in space and only suitable for standing. On a positive note, the staff were friendly and personable, contributing to a pleasant overall interaction. The beach access and pool area were enjoyable, although they may feel somewhat small on busier days. Dining was a mixed experience. Caretta Caretta restaurant was overpriced relative to the quality of the food, which was disappointing for both myself and my family. The beach food options were satisfactory. However, The Market stood out positively—the caramel cappuccino, lemon cake, and breakfast croissants were all excellent. Unfortunately, housekeeping did not meet expectations. The bathroom floors and toilet were not properly cleaned, and I had to address this myself. Surfaces such as the mirror and counter appeared to have been minimally wiped, and I was uncertain whether the pillowcases had been changed. The lobby area is quite small, and during rainy days, there are limited on-site activities "

"Overall, this is a clean and well-run hotel with the exception of my room. The room has been partially remodeled and looks nice while some parts look really outdated, cheap and dirty. There was hair in my sink and tub and mold around the drain that looks like it had been building up for awhile. There’s no way the bathroom had been cleaned before I arrived in my room. If they will cut corners cleaning the bathroom, made me wonder where else they cut corners in cleaning. The food was good, however. We ate at the cafe, the outdoor restaurant and got snacks from the bar while poolside. All great food. Poolside service was promised but nearly non-existent. We had to ask for a server every day. I think maybe they are understaffed. The location is good if you want to be a little out of the busier parts of Ft Lauderdale so I liked that. And there were plenty of great restaurants nearby. The staff was friendly and helpful. Finally, the website states that self-parking is free but the hotel informed us upon arrival that self-parking was the same cost as valet which makes no sense. I’ve never been to a hotel or self parking in valet is the same price. When I mentioned this to the person who checked me in, she didn’t even respond to me and so that’s why I never mentioned the bathroom issue. I felt that she wasn’t gonna be responsive to that issue, they certainly weren’t gonna be responsive to my bathroom issue so I said nothing. "

"A/C kept turning on and off very loudly every 5 minutes, making it unusable at night. Completely ruined my whole stay. Also, my friend was given a parking pass for free and I was forced to pay $72 to park for a few nights. Lastly, the computer at the bar went down and they would not let us settle our check up but we had an uber on the way and needed to leave. Overall, probably the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel and the AC was the main problem. "
