"Breakfast was excellent with friendly and efficient staff. Between midnight and 3:00am there was a great deal of drunken singing in the street. One of the revellers tapped on my bedroom window. Perhaps this was a one time event(England vs Norway.). It wasn’t really a problem for me, but my wife, had she been there with me, would have felt threatened by this. The lack of night security should be remedied."

"All the facilities and staff were very good, but the car park seems neglected and unfortunately gives a misleading first impression of the hotel. If you can see past that, it's a lovely hotel conveniently located for travellers passing through."

We had breakfast both mornings and the staff were warm, friendly attentive and very welcoming. The breakfasts were great. The bed was very old with person shape dents in the mattress The owner came out immediately to fix a light but as he couldn't reassure me that the other rooms were any better I left after one night of no sleep."
