"This was one of the worst stays I have ever experienced. The place was extremely unhygienic and clearly not cleaned properly. Basic necessities like toilet paper were not even provided, which is completely unacceptable. Even public toilets are far cleaner and better maintained than this. The bed was dusty, the room was dirty, and the overall environment felt unsafe and uncomfortable. I actually became unwell during my stay, which I believe was due to the poor hygiene and lack of...

"The Florance was a great place to stay from every perspective. Room was excellent well fitted out and clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. The location is great over the road from the Botanical Gardens and on the edge of the city. If you are an AFL fan down for the footy (as I was) the location is only a 10-15 minute stroll to the ground. Pub over the road was good for a meal. Will definitely return."

"The room was very clean and had all we needed. The only thing missing was robes, but that’s not a deal breaker. Beautiful bathroom 😍 Bed was comfortable. The only downsides - minor - was that the room was cold when we entered. It would have been a nice touch for the room to be warm. Also, the hallway was very cold. Never had this at a hotel before. Staff were excellent and the Bluestonw Kitchen had beautiful food 😍"

"As a repeat customer at Grand Chancellor Launceston everything was as expected ,very good ,,,, when it was time for bed we were very surprised as the bed was also host to a lot of ants ,, after some time later we relocated to another room this was a big inconvenience as I am a disabled person,,,, I thought this would have at least have been a very sorry apology from the management, but did not happen ,,quite disappointed,, ( 27 may. room no 1017 ,) thank for allowing me review my experience....

"good stay for the price. They work till late on many days - that was a plus so easy to check in. Lots of parking. Lots of places to eat at around the area and they give you a discount if you order food downstairs at their bar and give you a free drink voucher - was good. Overall the facilities were well maintained. I didnt hear any noises, no bad smell or anything like that. The only issue was that my window were looking at their A/Cs which would make some noise but was acceptable if the windows...

"Great location and atmosphere. Staff very obliging. Reviews we read talked about the lift. Still out of service but the problem was explained to us about the difficulty in having it repaired. The staff were happy to deliver our luggage to our room."
