The property is a few minutes drive from Hadrian’s Wall which was worth visiting. We also hired a canoe on Talkin Tarn. The inn is in the village of Talkin on the outskirts of Brampton. We didn’t stop in Brampton itself.







We stopped for 1 night. The rooms were absolutely spotless, had everything you needed for a B&B. We were able to check in sooner than 3pm. the food was lovely. Beautiful, warm & cosy cottage with everything there that you need. A lovely woodburner in the lounge, kept us warm & toastie. Very spacious accommodation, very clean. Met by owner on arrival who pointed us in the right direction for supplies etc . We took the 2 dogs with us and enjoyed some lovely ...
