"The Torre del Cestello had the "Room with a View" (complete with garden below) that I had been dreaming of for my first visit to Florence. The desk staff were all pleasant, helpful, and set me up with a map and suggestions when I checked in. There was easy access in and out of the room. Quiet but incredibly convenient location. "

"Very happy we booked here! It was such a pleasant place to stay!! Was happily surprised by a few things: The apartment is on the Piazza Carmine where there is a lovely old church Santa Maria del Carmine with the Brancacci Chapel. Also about a half block away and to left of the church steps there is a laundry mat, and just across the street from this a small grocery store, and a few more strides away a family bakery/kitchen where we got sandwiches, pastries and lasagna — lovely generational...
