"The room smelt of mold, it was clean but older. The washer/dryer was a scam and took our money. They were changing systems and the staff were unfamiliar with programs which made it difficult to check in. Not characteristic of a typical bon boyant stay."

"Room was very muggy as soon as A/C would turn off, mattress was super old and uncomfortable, sheets had stains on them. Found a cockroach in the room by the door. Would not recommend to use this hotel. It was last minute booking on my end, had no where else to go for one night. Lesson learned."

"One of the biggest issues we had was with our toilet. It was broken. It ran water almost all night. By the time we realized this we were too tired to pack everything up and request a new room. We also tried calling the front desk but the phone in the room had no service."

"The check-in lady was very helpful recommending a good choice for a dinner out. The lady that oversaw the breakfast setup kept everything topped off. A good, hot breakfast. The waffle batter dispenser was very, very slow. Probably 3 minutes to fill the batter measuring cup, and when mentioned was told that this is normal. ??? Very nice bed. This place shows a very slight amount of wear, but is still well worth the price. Nice place to sleep when passing through."

"Stayed here for 4th of July weekend and we got the front view of the fireworks right in front of the hotel. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Walking distance to Sundial Bridge and Turtle Bay Museum. Will definitely come back."

"The sheets smelled clean! The room looks and smells clean. Nothing stale or artificial. Shower is strong (maybe a little too strong lol). We had an issue with the bathroom, but staff helped us out tremendously. Breakfast was great: sausage, eggs, pancakes etc, and the coffee was superb! Staff is super friendly and welcoming. The amenities were top notch. For the price, I will come back to a Marriott hotel in a heartbeat."

"This hotel seems more suitable for business travelers than families. The staff never informed us that dinner at the hotel restaurant required a reservation, even though we were staying at the hotel. When we arrived, the staff looked at us as if we weren’t dressed well enough, and they seemed unsure where to seat us. It made us feel like they assumed we couldn’t afford to eat there. Every guest should be treated with respect, regardless of how they are dressed."
