"Parking is just at the door. Very easy to walk in with many baggages at bad weather. Kitchen is good for cooking easy dinner. Well built shower, the water didn’t run around anywhere, this is extra good."

"We loved the animals. The cows, the horses, and especially the farm dogs. The dogs made us feel like we were at home greeting us at the restaurant with their tales wagging. Watching the cows from the restaurant was like having dinner with a movie. And the horses were majestic. 10/10 restaurant and spacious comfortable room with great blackout drapes as well."

"Very artsy decor which seems very unique for Iceland which is usually more sterile/minimalist. The hot tub was not hot enough for our liking. Otherwise very cool place to stay for a night."

"The hotel is not fancy but it doesn't have to be. The chief/manager was so very kind and made me a packed lunch instead of the contineal breakfast. Nothing fancy, but it hit the spot. Was a really special spot and one of the highlights of my trip. "

"We had a wonderful two night stay here. It is a bit away from anything which we liked, but be sure to plan accordingly. It was easy to spend the day on the ring road leaving that morning and making our way back in the evening (the never ending sunlight helped). The room is well appointed, everything you could need in the kitchen. My daughter loved playing with their two well behaved dogs. Be sure to pay attention to their directions, apple maps will take you 30 minutes in the wrong direction."

"The goods: the lady let us check in 1 hr earlier, the property was cleaned and well maintained. The horse farm is very nice and the horses are super friendly and cute. The bad: the temperature downstairs (living room and kitchen) was very hot without any way to turn it down. "A handsome historic building in a lovely and convenient spot. We had a family room that didn’t quite match expectations based on the photos and description, but it was fine. The lobby sitting area was also lovely with lots of character and the breakfast room made me feel like I was there in the 1940s as a boarding school student — in a good way. "We stayed just for one night erupts to Vik. Nice property, close to Selfoss, reasonably priced for Iceland prices. Kitchen is well equipped. Many other facilities such as hot tub, on site cafe etc which we couldn’t use due to lack of time. Highly recommended for visiting National park, Geysir and Gullfoss waterfalls."
