Pros and cons

Basic room in a vibrant section of Breda. So much fun to be in the heart of things. The downside of this is the night noise, until about 11-12. (Probably worse than usual since the weather was so perfect.) bring earplugs! Mattress was very hard if you care about such things. Nice to have a mini espresso machine, fridge, and grocery store across the street. A full-length mirror would be a nice addition! Try the Street Food Club in the old theater behind the building!!

Gezellig club met mensen daar. Mensen die met plezier hun werk doen en dat merk je meteen. Kamer zijn netjes en van alle benodigdheden voorzien. Lekker ontbijtje en oh ja... we kregen ook een welkomst drankje. Kort samengevat een aanrader! Als we nog eens naar breda gaan slapen we daar weer.

Duur en lawaaiig, maar wel een super ontbijt.

Minpunten: Ons verblijf was tijdens een zomers weekend. In de kamer was het heel warm, dus de ramen moesten open. Niet handig, want er was buiten heel veel uitgaanslawaai. De overnachting was aan de prijs gezien de kleine kamer en de afwezigheid van airconditioning. Pluspunten: Centraal gelegen; vorstelijk ontbijt

Leuk, maar zeer vies en slechte service!

Geweldige plek, midden in centrum, maar de kamers waren zeer vies. Na het inchecken direct melding gemaakt van een vieze on-aangevulde koffiehoek. Mokjes vies en gebruikte lepeltjes.Geen koffiecupjes en slechts 1cupje melk. Er zou iets aan gedaan worden. We zijn de stad ingegaan en bij terugkomst sávonds laat ( geen personeel meer aanwezig) constateerden we dat er niks was bijgevuld, en er stond nog steeds een vieze mok. Er lagen hele grote stofwolken rond en onder het bed, en een vies wattenstaafje in de badkamer. De volgende dag hebben we dit gemeld en is er een personeelslid meegelopen. Ze gaf ons groot gelijk. Op de 2e kamer die wij hadden geboekt was het precies hetzelfde verhaal. De eigenaar was niet te bereiken, maar zou contact met ons opnemen later die dag. We hadden de volledige prijs al betaald. We werden helaas niet teruggebeld. Een dag later zelf gebeld en eigenaar verschool zich achter het feit dat de schoonmaakster ontslag had genomen. Hij wilde ons op geen enkele manier tegemoet komen. We hadden direct bij aankomst moeten melden dat de kamers vies waren. We hebben toen echter onze koffer alleen achtergelaten, melding gemaakt van de koffiehoek en zijn de stad in gegaan. Toen we terugkwamen was er niemand om iets te kunnen melden. Jammer, want het is een hele leuke plek!

Zeer prettige ontvangst, kamer zeer fijn, schoonmaak liet iets te wensen over. (Prullenbak was niet geleegd als ook lag er op de grond een tandenstoker en wat klein vuil...) Bed wel erg slecht.

Lovely hotel

Only down side is reception closes at 6pm. I didnt arrive in town until late, but contacted owners ahead of time, and they were incredibly helpful and arranged key collection for me from their home, which is nearby. I would certainly stay here again.

Good city center location.

It is a bit of a stretch to call this a "Boutique" hotel. It is really an older facility that has been spruced up a bit, with some decorating to make it look a bit rustic (I think that was the goal). The wooden pole suspended from the ceiling by two ropes intended for use as a clothes rack (by the hangars included on it) was poorly placed just inside the door. We had to be cautious not to hit our heads on it. The rood was so small I can't suggest a better place for it - perhaps "boutique" means "small" to the proprietors. The steep, narrow staircase was not uncommon ad not a problem for us, but others may find navigating it with luggage difficult.

Ontzettende aardige mensen, zowel de jonge eigenares als de medewerkers, een prachtige kamer (wij hadden de luxe suite met balkon), en een heerlijk ontbijtje de volgende ochtend. Sfeervolle plek in Breda. Wij komen zeker een keer terug!

schönes Boutique Hotel, freundlicher Service

Dieses Hotel ist eine echte Alternative zu den üblichen Business-Hotels (golden tulip o.ä.). Mit nur ein paar Zimmern, frisch und geschmackvoll renoviert. Der Service war sehr freundlich und persönlich. Das Hotel liegt inmitten der Fussgängerzone, ein grosser, öffentlicher Parkplatz ist aber in unmittelbarer Nähe.
