"We were greeted warmly and ushered into a wonderful stay at Belle Epoque! Everything was clean and nicely decorated. The property was beautifully maintained and seemed like its own private oasis away from the bustling streets. We loved sitting outside our room and enjoying a glass of wine in the afternoon sun. Breakfast was wonderful and parking within the enclosure was a definite plus. We highly recommend Belle Epoque!"

"This hotel is in a very old building. There is no lift, so you must carry your luggage up and down the stairs. We are older and found this to be difficult. The hotel is located close to the heart of town, so good from that perspective, but it is a 15 minute walk from the train station. There are no taxi's in Beaune, so the only way was to walk with luggage. This was challenging for us. There is come charm in an old building, but this didn't have it. The bathroom left much to be desired. There is a bathtub only, with a hand wand "shower", but nothing mounted to the wall to fasten the hand wand to so that one could "shower". Getting into and out of the tub was challenging, no hand rails or something hold onto. The hotel would benefit from offering car service to and from the train station."

"Located right outside the city walls, this location could not have been better for our stay in Beaune. It was a simple Uber ride from the train station, and staff was very helpful identifying cafés and restaurants we might want to visit. Our room was nicely appointed, very clean, and the bathroom look new. We also took advantage of the elevator, which took us up to the second floor with our luggage."

"We booked this hotel last minute as we wanted somewhere to put our head down traveling back from the South of France to Calais. We arrived late at night say 11pm was given our room and all looked well and clean. My husband woke about 5.30am to the sound of mosquitos..we had both been bitten several times. when he turned on the light the floor was covered in ants from the bathroom all the way into the bedroom. We reported it to the girl in the morning she came and took photos and said she’d report it to her deputy manager and apologised. She took my email and telephone details and said she’d report it and we would at least get a refund. Two weeks later I’ve still not heard anything and still no refund. Would I stay here again….most definately not"
