"Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was like going back in time. The historical decor, the spacious lobby, wide porches, fantastic scenery, were all magnificent.
I felt the safest there, than at any other hotels I have ever stayed at.
The 10:00 am. tour, starting at the grandather clock, was well worth it.
Thank you Marvin, for suggesting it.
I want to go back again because, like Paris, there is so much to see and embrace.
I'd love to see the hotel decorated for Christmas. I'll have to take a ride up there then and experience more.
Thanks to the parking attendants, front desk clerks, waiters, cleaning staff, and our tour guide."
"Very cozy , private, awesome room ! The staff were friendly & courteous ! Breakfast was fullfilling & had good variety ! The hot tub in room worked properly ! Got there hour early room wasn't ready -- that's ok. But when returned @ 3:00 check in @ 3:15; was told it would take 1/2 hour to hour for the hot tub to heat up to temperature. Clean overall ; except lid to ice bucket was pretty dirty - we didn't use. When we wiped up the floor though, from dripping bathing suits ; in the bathroom ; their white towels turned black. Price was UNBEATABLE for this wonderful spot ! Having an outdoor heated pool ( opening end of month / May ), & a room w / beautiful fireplace & private hot tub is usually crazy $$$$ - here was NOT ! In traveling though this is the only spot that in the rec room ; the pool table , washer, dryer, had to be paid for here by quarters ? There was no fitness room perse' as listed. Most spots have the above, fitness cycle @ least , couple arcade games & pool. May missing , & as stated above , the above things usually aren't paid for ; they're included :( We've stayed there 3 times in last 3 1/2 months. Also referred family & friends there too. :)"
"We loved this little hotel. The linens and towels were plush. The room was quite spacious. I had spa services which were booked last minute and were excellent. My husband climbed Mount Washington- pro level mountaineers only- the crazy weather is a thing. The free breakfasts were indeed free and a proper made-to-order meal not some stale muffin. We made friends in the hot tub and the pool is heated enough for year round use. It wasn’t fancy- but it was exceptional in its own right. We’ll be back."
"Our stay was great. Very quiet place in the Whites during off season. Just what we wanted. Staff was welcoming and room was clean and balcony was screened in."
