"What a great place! Lungern is a nice, quiet town with a beautiful lake. Emma’s B&B is up on the hillside by the train station. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was brilliant and had a range of options. Would definitely recommend."
"Outstanding place to stay. Just a few minutes drive to Interlaken but we were right on the lake. Stunning views and so peaceful. Set in a quaint village. Very comfortable and clean. Great friendly staff. Would definitely come back again and highly recommend. Great value for money. "
"The hotel is located in Meiringen, which is connected to Interlakhen OST and Luzern by train. Lake Brienz is also pretty close to the property. The room was spacious, had all amenities. Though like many other Intrelaken Hotels, the hotel does not have AC, however, they provided table fan, which is sufficient. Hotel provides a free pass to ride to local cable car and public bus services. "
"Loved the exceptional staff - very friendly and helpful. The room (panoramic view) was incredible, very spacious with amazing view of Mt. Eiger. Breakfast was tasty. Very walkable in Grindelwald and to/from train station. Stellar stay, I would definitely stay again! "
"Expensive to stay but great views. Playground available on site for young children. Restaurant had a decent menu. Fun bunk beds for kids in family room we had. Close to First for activities. Friendly helpful staff."
"Wonderfully hospitable service and excellent attention to detail. The owners were very kind and offered kind suggestions of things to do in the area. The location is perfect as well - right at the end of hustle and bustle of Main Street but easy walking access to everything. Also, we had stunning views of the glacier and peaks from our room! Good variety of foods at breakfast. Very slow toaster that only takes 2 slices at a time leaves guests waiting around. Serving spoons/tongs were being mixed up for eggs, potatoes and sausages and meats were touching cheeses which is off putting if you are vegan/vegetarian/religious diet. No water cooler in the communal lounge space seems very mean considering in the rooms guests are encouraged to...
"This hotel is outside the city of Lucerne but only 20 minutes away. It is nice and peaceful, which was our preference. The Mt. Pilatus train station in Alpnachstadt is just a few minutes away. We got to enjoy both sunset and sunrise from our balcony.
The staff were friendly and professional and the room was clean and uniquely charming but with modern conveniences. The restaurant served excellent local favorite dishes.
We look forward to another stay in the coming years.

"I’m very impressed and satisfied with my stay . The hotel is less than 5 minutes walk from the train station. The decorations and design is so vintage and I remembered some of the old pots and pans and iron displayed all over the lobby . The front desk staff were helpful and always smiling . The room was so cozy and clean . I had the beautiful view of the mountain and water . The breakfast buffet was awesome and delicious ! The servers were all accommodating , friendly , smiling , courteous....
"While the room and building was full of character and history, it was also well-equipped with plenty of space and storage for travellers. The common room for guests had snacks, tea, and coffee, as well as a large fridge. The location is great, a few minutes walk to Interlaken West station and very close to a convenience store. There's a bakery just next to the building and the Interlaken Flagship shop is just down the road."
