"Absolute luxury! Our host Leonie was fantastic. From walking in the front door it felt like walking through pages of a magazine! Our room was huge and included two large arm chairs, huge bed that was so comfortable and a beautiful big bathroom with floor heating. Lovely balcony to have a cuppa on watching the Paddy Melons when they came for a visit. Excellent tea/coffee, biscuits, microwave and great shower/bath products - every thing you’d need. "Rathmore was everything we had hoped for a tranquil weekend escape. We stayed in the Shearer’s Quarters, separate from the main homestead and very private, with delicious meals delivered by Cally - the lamb ragu was a favourite, highly recommended. Both hosts, Richard and Cally, encouraged us to wander the historic property, which felt a little like stepping back in time to a more peaceful era. We even saw one of the dam’s resident platypus!
