"Rooms were large and nice, Front desk staff and cleaning staff are great. Breakfast was a bit light but good. Only down fall were the heavy running foot steps of kids in the room above us but it was ok. The hall way carpet needs replaced heavy stains through out. But we will be back"

"We recently stayed at Homestead Resort in Midway and had mixed feelings about the experience. The property itself is charming, and the rooms are cute and comfortable. However, I was very disappointed to arrive and discover significant construction taking place on the resort grounds. I never saw any mention of ongoing construction on the website or during the booking process. "Location is great! Just a couple of blocks from Temple Square. Tons of restaurants nearby, but most are pricey. Room wasn't the biggest but it was nice. The hotel could use a little TLC. The floor we were on had peeling wallpaper and baseboards. The biggest knock about this place is the parking. You can park yourself for $35 per night, or valet for $45. Made the mistake of grabbing a coffee on my way out from the Market downstairs. $5 for a self-serve paper cup. Next time I'll skip that and head...
