We did have a few issues however the property did everything it could to make good on these issues. The location is fantastic, very close to Central Station and the centre of the city. The property has some lovely outdoor areas to relax in and has been tastefully renovated as well. Staff were nice and helpful, would definitely stay again!

Great hostel for exploring Australia

Great hostel, very clean and well presented. Rooms are modern and have USB c wall ports. Bathrooms are nice and have two showers and two toilet cubicles. Only complaint would be that the water temperature fluctuates constantly, it’s hard to find a balance where it doesn’t scald you or freeze you to death. Staff are amazing and are very accommodating and it’s rare to find a hostel having 24hr service. Breakfast was great, lots of choice and good quality. Thank you for a great stay :)

Great place to stay, very close to central station and the breakfast was a nice bonus. Rooms were nice. The only issue is that each pod only has 1 USB port and no outlet which makes charging devices very inconvenient. However, this is a minor issue and it was a nice stay overall.

From the moment you arrive here at YHA always greeted by the most amazing, beautiful people who are ALL fabulous with a warm welcome, smiles & SO helpful! The service is superb! The location is sensational! SO central to all that you could possibly need here in our most amazing City! Beautiful Brisie is shining bright always ! Even more so now after our local footy legend wins making us all proud. We have Olympic Games approaching, which will be FANTASTIC for us all! I was blessed to be living on the stunning Sydney Harbour, for 2000. YHA is the perfect spot for ‘32! Centred to the Iconic Lang Park, the Gabba & Victoria Park, the Venue for ‘32! You can be to ANY in 5 minutes! Transport is excellent! It’s SAFE her! Close by beautiful the City Shopping, just a short leisurely stroll. FABULOUS Dining Options to cater for ALL tastes & Cuisines! Sensational! Our stunning beaches & countryside. Beautiful Wineries in Stanthorpe Region. The Lockyer Valley Farms. This City & YHA have it all! YHA facilities are AMAZING L! Mid 30s staying in a hostel. Best i could have hoped for. Very social and can do your own thing too if you wish. Very clean. Very helpful. Very friendly. Great atmosphere

The Brisbane Quarters was far from what I expected. It was very noisy and obviously a hostel which was not indicated when I booked. The noise came from constant opening and closing of doors in the hallway all night. Then around 1 am someone was able to unlock and open my door. This was unnerving and totally unacceptable. I would never stay there again. There was also long hair strands on the bed cover, disgusting.

Despite booking a room with facilities, IE a toilet in a bathroom, what is normally expected when booking a room. I was issued with a key to a dormitory, sharing with two strangers. I’m nearly 70 and far from being a twenty something that most of the guests at this facility clearly were, I’m no longer sharing with complete strangers, not that, over the years I ever shared with complete strangers. Due to the late hour I was left with deciding to stay and sheare OR hand back the key and with the 15 mins remaining till midnight, try and book a more conventional hotel room in Brisbane. I’m glad I was able to because the room at Capri by Fraser was exceptional AND I was handed a bottle of champagne to settle into my room with. Hotels.com are looking into my booking arrangements at the Brisbane Quarters with a view to obtaining a full refund.

I really appreciated the proximity of this property to South Bank, Queens Mall, Central Station, grocery outlets and other shopping. It was not, however, on noisy streets. My bed was very comfortable and the ensuite bathroom was adequate and spotlessly clean.

Two nights in Brisbane

It's a hostel so it was as expected. Beds were comfortable, obviously it's a shared bathroom. Breakfast was basic but plenty provided, you are expected to clear up after yourself. Close to Central Railway Station so conveniently placed and fairly cheap for a city. If you're happy with basic but comfortable and clean facilities then you'll be happy. If you like a few frills you won't find them here. Staff are extremely pleasant and helpful and are available around the clock, which is useful

Great location and provided a few free breakfast options. Triple room is basic but has everything you need. Bathrooms are clean but did have to wait as there were only 2 Felt very safe and allowed luggage storage for free. Would come back!
