Beautiful location with excellent restaurants within walking distance. The Ticino Pass allowed unlimited travel on the local buses. Made it very easy to get around. Visited mountain villages with incredible scenery. Also enjoyed the Ascona jazz festival. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Very comfortable and immaculate room. Stunning view of the lake from the hotel bar terrace. Would definitely go back to this hotel.

Unser Zimmer "Bösch" war wunderbar, sehr geräumig und toll und exklusiv eingerichtet. Alle Materialen sind stilvoll aber auch von sehr hoher Qualität. Jederzeit wieder. Die Besitzer sind sehr aufmerksam und freundlich und erfüllen jeden Wunsch. Man fühlt sich herzlich willkommen und zuhause.

Super Aussicht direkt auf den See aus dem Zimmer. Äusserst freundliche Bedienung, hoher Wert auf Persönlichkeit, das hat uns sehr gefallen. Unser Zimmer hatte entgegen dem Angebot via ebookers keine Klimaanlage, was bei den Temperaturen im Hochsommer doch sehr angenehm gewesen wäre.

Lovely birthday weekend away

A lovely birthday weekend - hotel was very nice, clean, good views across the lake, close to some lovely restaurants. Owners very obliging - took advantage of their boat to have a water taxi into Ascona, and they came down with a cake for me for breakfast on my birthday. Would definitely visit again.

This is like no other hotel at which we've stayed, the standard of cleanliness and attention to detail is quite remarkable and the staff are nothing short of outstanding, they really could not do enough to make our stay an absolute pleasure. The room itself was fantastic, very peaceful given the hotel backs on to a main road, with great features and facilities, and not forgetting the fabulous view! We wanted a quiet break and were a little worried Brissago was too quiet, but it couldn't have been better, you can relax and swim in the lake, sunbathing on the small beach area or sun terrace, hire paddle boards and windsurfers, or take off into the mountains for the day, I'd recommended a car, but public transport was excellent with discounted and even free travel available. There are a number of restaurants and bars within easy walking distance of the hotel which were all very good, albeit it rather expensive, but we couldn't fault the food or service. One of our best holidays to date and a fabulous week in Switzerland.

Personal seeehr freundlich. Im Zimmer hatten wir keine Klimaanlage, dadurch war es sehr warm die ganze Nacht. Aber ansonsten alles suuper kommen gerne wieder.

Die Mitarbeiter, besonders der Koch und die Reinigungskraft, waren sehr freundlich und bemüht, jeden Wunsch zu erfüllen. Das Zimmer war sehr schön und gross! Was wir nicht schön fanden, war der Empfang, und dass die Aussenmöbel leider einen etwas schmuddeligen Eindruck machten (voll Spinnweben), die Badtücher waren nicht weich sondern extrem kratzig. Die Liegestühle im Bereich, wo es sandig war, waren etwas sehr einfach (Position nicht verstellbar). Das Wasser war unserer Meinung nach zu teuer (1Liter / 7.50)...Für den Hund wurden 30.00 pro Tag verrechnet, obwohl man weder einen Napf noch eine Decke zur Verfügung gestellt bekam... Im Allgemeinen finden wir, dass das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis nicht gestimmt hat. Schade! Aufgrund der sehr guten Bewertungen hätten wir mehr erwartet....
