"Thank you to Sabrina the duty manager for responding to the issues we experienced positively and for taking ownership of them. She was a credit to the hotel, worked hard and clearly cared about the guest experience. Sabrina was also thoughtful as she knows the other issues we experienced (nothing to do with the hotel) following a recent visit to Mexico. We originally booked an accessible room. "Jonny, the host was friendly, courteous and very helpful. Cannot be faulted. Room and en suite basic, but bed clean and comfortable. Plenty of storage drawers, small table and chairs a nice touch. Shower room small but clean, with good shower pressure. Although above a pub, the rooms are unexpectedly quiet. Budget-friendly - if you want all the “bells & whistles”, then you’d have to pay much more for a room. Well worth the money."

"Very noisy with each room having fire doors that slammed all night behind guests going to and from their rooms. No soundproofing from within the hotel, so could here people passing in the hallway. Little sleep had. There appeared to be what looked like cigarette ash in the shower, with the room also looking a bit dated and run down. On the plus side, very nice staff."

"We had a problem when we arrived as we had booked a Superior King Room with our dog but on arrival told we couldn't have that so downgraded to a lessor room. But the staff gave us a free drink and free parking and as we had no choice at that stage we had to accept it. Very annoying as I had called in advance to confirm the booking and that we were bringing a dog etc but thats the problem with corporates"
