"Elevator broken, poorly staffed, no room cleaning"

"Stayed many times but this undoubtedly was the worst stay yet. Bed and pillows were rock hard could not sleep Went down for breakfast found a table got cup of tea table taken when I got back so went to get breakfast got last plate no food all bar bacon empty so left with no breakfast terrible and a long trip home . Never again awful ."

"The hotel was well located for the city and Clifton. The staff were lovely and really friendly and the room small but comfortable fresh and clean. However, sadly the noise from neighbouring bars even though we were on the third floor at the back of the hotel, was very loud and intrusive and with just single glazed windows was impossible to even soften. This was a shame after we had specifically asked that our room was quiet."

"The room we had was spacious, clean well maintained everything you need for a relaxing stay . The room had iron and ironboard, fridge, glasses for drinks. Toiletries very good, shower easy to work . The Air-conditioning was brilliant. Breakfast was very good ,plenty of choice, but one day reduced staff on so service was poor and had to keep reminding staff what we wanted. But that was just once."

"It was ok and seemed to be very popular with young families. The room was clean. And bed was comfortable so I had a good nights sleep. Tea and coffee was available with plenty of hot water available from a dispenser in the hallway. But there was only 2 teabags. So maybe take more with you if you need to have tea more than once. They don’t have lifts so I had to ask for a ground floor room as my husband has bad knees. This might also be an issue if you have pushchairs to carry about. The...
