"The staff are top notch right from the liquor store to the pub! Very much enjoyed my stay and dinner on the patio. Recommend the pizza or the beef dip!! 12 stars! The bed was very comfortable, could have used a couple more pillows but still overall it was amazing! Highly recommended"

"Alert Bay is a very nice very scenic costal community with lots of history. Gordie’s is right in the middle of it all, right on the water with excellent views of the ocean, sunsets are incredible. Food at the restaurant…the seafood linguine was amazing, sooo good! The room didn’t have a TV but who cares, things to look at were everywhere "

"The people were welcoming, the cost was reasonable and the room was clean. The only downside was the weather was very hot and there was no air conditioner in my room. I would definitely stay there again "

"Overall it's just a feel-good place where you can take a deep breath."

"Nice clean and very quiet room. Having a car is a must. Free parking provided on the property."

"The property and grounds were good, well maintained and interesting, but there was no air conditioning ,the room was hot, the restaurant, bar and spa were closed. breakfast was adequate but unimaginative. the staff were present but were not attentive. It was as if they had already closed for the season and just going through the motions. a lot of money for just a room. not a great experience."
