We historically have had a good experience with this hotel and staff... we arrived at 5:30pm 12/25/25 to find no staff on site, office empty. We called the phone number on the sign, was told to come back in an hour or two, since it was Christmas and the rep was eating dinner. We were willing to be reasonable , even though there were nearly no stores nor restaurants on xmas... We came back 2.5 hours later, and still nobody, no answer on the phone. Two more cars pulled up to check in, one stating they were told the same thing. Once the rep showed up, due to a computer issue, he wasn't able to make us a key card. He was very nice, but he was stuck. So, trying to help by using the master key, he got our room unlocked so we could get unpacked and rest.
When we went into the room, the room was unclean, the bed was made, but the sheets were filthy with human hair. When we brought it to the reps' attention, he tried to get us another room, but there were limited options, so he gave us a full new/clean bedding set so we could make the bed with fresh bedding. So we could do it...
The next day, the manager returned, I told her what happened, no apologies, no compensation or giving of any credit for the gross inconvenience of having to clean our own hotel room... and still no room key. Computer still not making keys yet. It was 2pm 12/26/25 before we had a card key to our room. I waited 5 days to see if there would be any apology or compensation for being given a dirty room... Nothing.
