"Very friendly staff, comfortable rooms and a comprehensive breakfast selection - we'd love to have the chance to visit again! The complimentary lemonade and the 3€ beer fridge next to the reception desk are some amazing perks too."
"I was charged for the booking by Expedia but the hotel said the room was not paid for, so we assumed it was payment on arrival and paid the hotel. When we returned home, we found that Expedia had also charged us for the same stay. Furthermore the hotel did not provide us with an official receipt, that we can remember. As a result, we are having difficulty getting our duplicate payment refunded from Expedia.
We are attempting to contact the hotel to obtain a copy of their receipt to prove to Expedia that we have paid the hotel, directly, in the hope to get our duplicate payment refunded."
"Beautiful Rooms and wonderful location; only negative was we were on the 4th floor with a lot of luggage (5 large bags) which was difficult to transport up tthe stairs as there wasn't a lift. Otherwise cannot fault this hotel and would stay again (but request a lower room to make it easier)."
"The property is conveniently located in close proximity to several bakeries, restaurants and shops. Very walkable to get anywhere in town, and public transportation is available close by.
Overall, the hotel was quiet and the room was comfortable and clean. Please note that the room does not have a private bath attached. A shower and restroom is available on each floor so as long as you are comfortable with that, this is a nice place to stay. There is a community kitchen on the first floor that can be used by the guests. An elevator is not available since it is an old building, be prepared to walk up some steep stairs to your room with your luggage. Parking is not available at the property. Check in and check out is easy and convenient. Hotel staff is friendly."
"The hotel was amazing, great location, accessible to a bus line and amazing neighborhood grocery store, and local restaurants. The hotel was extremely clean, the breakfast was amazing with a variety
of food options each day. I am vegetarian and the food was fresh. Most importantly all of the staff was remarkable and the cost was reasonable. I would strongly recommend this hotel if you are in the Gießen area."
