Now, hotels and taxis come very expensive in Munich, especially within the city centre, so we went with one of Munichs Holiday In Expresses, their large one located on the west side. Balanced with cost, this hotel is perfectly located next to Hirschgarten train station. Easily reached by the Sl or S8 metro from the city or airport. Check in was friendly and helpful. "Really nice hotel. Excellent room, fresh, new, spacious and good soundproofing from outside and hallway (important feature to me). It has a nice reception/bar area and the prices were very reasonable. No coffee making in the rooms which was unusual, but the reception/bar is a nice place to have an espresso or similar. The village of Munchen-Pasing is quite nice and actually way more peaceful and enjoyable than the excessive crowds that were in Munich visiting the Christmas market. It’s only a 20...
