"While this is a historical venue I was disappointed with several things that I felt should have been much better for the price. We had a porch which was absolutely filthy with spiders, cobwebs, and dead bugs. They did send someone quickly to take care of this however it helped a little but there was still spiders and webs in the porch railings. The bathroom was small and we had an issue with the hot water not being hot part of one day. Not sure I'd recommend this to anyone for the price."

"Easy booking, clean big room with historic charm. Bar tender in the tavern was awesome. Food across the street at Stoners was excellent."

"The room smelled, was dirty and there were insects flying around. The room was next to the highway and very loud. I didn't arrive at the property until very late and had been driving all day. I had to get up early to continue my trip and didnt have the energy to request a room change. I do NOT recommend this hotel. I booked the room based on other reconmendations but I do not agree with the other reviewers."
