"The view was amazing. Right on the waterfront. The closet where the garbage can was dirty otherwise the room was quite clean. I didn’t see that until the following morning and I’m sure if I would’ve asked they would have cleaned it. They did let us get in our room early which was nice. The front office smelt very strong of some type of perfume that was not good for my breathing but other than that it was a ok stay. Breakfast was OK nothing fancy. I don’t know if I’d eat any of their baked goods as I saw a staff member put a muffin back from a table at the end of the breakfast time."
"One of the best breakfasts I had on this trip - simple but well planned. The room was cozy and the bathroom was clean. The floors were a bit cold so I wish they gave slippers. The only thing is it is amazingly close to nature. So close that there was a flock of birds outside the territory that was absolutely yelling for most of the night, kind of sounded like two car alarms going off at the same time. Bring ear plugs if you travel in breeding season 😅"
"Rainy and cold outside, but wonderful and cozy inside.
The staff are so friendly and welcoming. Food was great at the restaurant, best chicken sandwich I ever had, my husband had the fish cakes and he absolutely loved them."
"We spent 2 nights at the Telegraph Inn. Our room was on the 3rd floor which luckily I had my husband to carry the bags up the narrow staircase. We had luggage for a 2 week vacation so we had lots of luggage. Wouldn’t be so bad if you just had an overnight bag. Our room was nice, newly renovated. There is no air conditioning. We were there in May and were comfortable having the windows open. The summer heat might be challenging? The location is great and the inn has lots of character. I’d recommend this location, I’d be a bit concerned about the heat in the summer."
