The apartment is in a great location, making it easy to get around Budapest, and being on the fourth floor meant it was nice and quiet. The bed was comfortable, the apartment was tidy on arrival, and the kitchen had enough equipment to prepare basic meals.
Unfortunately, the cleanliness didn’t quite meet my expectations. While the bathroom looked clean at first glance, the corners of the floor needed more attention. The bottom of the kitchen bin appeared not to have been cleaned for quite some time. There was also something left on the kitchen window sill (see photo). The kitchen walls had noticeable grease marks, and many of the other walls were heavily marked as well. The dish sponge was old and should have been replaced, and there were no basic cleaning products provided (I purchased).
The lounge also had visible stains, so I chose not to use it, and the grey rug looked very worn and not particularly clean?
Overall, the apartment has good potential thanks to its location, comfortable bed, and quiet setting. However, with a more thorough deep clean and a little more attention to maintenance, it would provide a much better guest experience.
