We stayed at this hotel 12 years previously and the rooms haven't been updated at all. The location is great and for the low price we paid, can't really complain. However there were some annoying things that could be easily resolved. There is no kettle in the room so no tea or coffee in the morning unless you get one from downstairs that takes forever and tastes BAD. The shower blasts horizontally at your face and is not adjustable. The shower curtain is too close and clings to you in the shower. Gross! The room was rarely cleaned, the bathroom in particular. But we got what we paid for. One major problem that needs fixed urgently are the windows. This is a high rise hotel with low windowsills and the windows open wide!! So dangerous. I would not bring children here. Reception staff were friendly and helpful.

Einzigartig ist die wunderschöne Aussicht. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und schmeckt. Ja, das Hotel ist schon etwas älter, aber das macht seinen Charme auch aus. In den Zimmern wird es aber langsam Zeit, das eine oder andere zu erneuern. In unserem Fall die Fußleisten und das Bad im Allgemeinen. Ab einem gewissen Alter sieht ein Bad nicht nur alt, sondern auch leicht ungepflegt aus und ist sicherlich auch schwieriger zu reinigen (Fugen etc.) Insgesamt aber ein schönes, preisgünstiges Hotel in perfekter Lage. Straßenbahn direkt am Eingang und man erreicht das Zentrum in wenigen Minuten mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln. Auch das Einkaufszentrum Mammut liegt fußläufig nur wenige Minuten entfernt.

The hotel is some distance from town, in a drab area. Its a modern building, not attractive. It is just across the road from bus and tram stops, which get you to an interchange for city wide transport. The hotel restaurant is poor, closing early, with very little choice on the menu. We didn't have breakfast - at 11 € each it seemed very expensive. But there was nowhere else nearby. No tea/coffee in the rooms either. We went for the Christmas markets, so it was cold outside. Considering the season, the room was quite cold, duvets thin, and on our last morning we realised the housekeeping staff had only left us with one set of towels that day! Upside was the assistant /night desk manager, who was a lovely chap. We really enjoyed Budapest, and we weren't expecting luxury for the price we paid, but still, the hotel was very disappointing.

Proper hotel, maar wat afgeleefd, wat vergane glorie, was ooit een hype hotel omwille van zijn unieke ronde vorm, maar heeft een opfrisbeurt nodig. Ontbijt was uitgebreid, maar soms wat chaotisch en tafels niet altijd proper.

De kamer was goed. Nadeel was dat we daar geen Wifi hadden. Ik begreep dat er gratis parkeerplaatsen waren maar we moesten - hoewel niet veel - toch € 11,00 betalen voor een dag. Prettig was dat we op onze vertrekdag de auto - uiteraard weer tegen betaling van € 1,00 per uur - de auto konden laten staan. Het ontbijt was chaotisch. Lange rij om koffie te tappen en tafels werden na gebruik niet meteen leeggemaakt. Verder een prettig hotel op een juiste locatie.
