We stayed at this hotel on 4–5 March and 19 March and had a very disappointing experience regarding a missing item. After checkout, we realised we had forgotten a jacket in the room. We returned to the hotel later the same day, after the cleaners had been in, but it had already gone. Reception reluctantly checked the room after asking them to multiple times, but it could not be located. We also requested that the cleaners be asked if they found the jacket - and it was surprising to hear that they had not turned this in.
We subsequently sent a detailed email asking the hotel to investigate with housekeeping again and also with lost property. We also mentioned that we would be returning to the hotel again 2 weeks later. Despite this, we never received any reply to our email, and when we stayed again, nobody followed up or provided any information.
While items can sometimes go missing, the complete lack of response and apparent absence of any investigation was very disappointing. At the very least, we expected acknowledgment, communication, or some effort to resolve the situation. The way this was handled left us with a poor impression of the hotel's customer service and attention to guests’ concerns.
