"I love a cheap stay no more than the next person but I cannot recommend anyone visits here. The guy on the front desk was lovely but that is all that is nice. The reception smelt of stale urine, the shared toilets were yellow, barely functioned and were so incredibly dirty. The room stank and needed a full renovation, the sink was stained. We had three rooms and one wouldn’t even lock. These look like an F1 hotel on paper but stay clear F1 is a 5* compared to Enzo."
"The staff were friendly and helpful even with my bad French. The food was very good, and my room was as described.
I couldn’t get the EV charging point to work, this was the only negative that I can think of.
Overall very happy with my stay. Tres Bonne"
"Clean and well-maintained. Friendly helpful staff. Plenty of nearby on-street parking. Very close to the city centre. Numerous restaurants nearby, but advisable to book especially on a Saturday evening. This good value-for-money hotel is ideal for a short city visit or a one-night stopover."
"Les Jardins de Joséphine is a charming hotel in a lovely location with beautifully maintained gardens and a high-standard building. It’s a short drive from the city, and there’s a bakery and coffee shop within walking distance.
The room was stylish, comfortable, and spotless. While not huge, it had plenty of space, a comfy bed, and a modern bathroom with a great shower. Including hair conditioner would be a nice extra.
The main downside was the check-in process. The hotel doesn’t have a reception and sends an access code for the gate—but I never received it. The gate system wasn’t working properly, and the call button went unanswered. I eventually reached someone by phone who came to help, but they also struggled with the gate. It would be helpful if the hotel reviewed reservations more regularly or set up an automated system to send codes and instructions as soon as a booking is made.
If you’re arriving, go to the metal main gate entrance. There are two, and the wooden one is not ideal — driving around to the correct one saves confusion.
Despite the check-in issue, I really enjoyed my stay. With a few tweaks to the arrival process, it would be a near-perfect spot for a relaxing getaway."
